Ladles

These ladles can be used for soups, gravies, etc., or just as a serving spoon. They can vary quite a bit in size. The thicker pieces of wood that are necessary are hard to come by so to a large degree the size of the piece of wood I have determines the size of the finished ladle. These are the hardest and most time consuming of all the utensils I make.  With the cutting, shaping, chiseling and sanding it may take over eight hours to completely finish a piece.
